We do in-store & curbside pick up!

Hi, I'm Julia.

Mom first. Business owner second.

For four years I was a stay at home mom, and I loved it. But anyone who has done it knows that loving something and being fulfilled by it aren't always the same thing. I needed somewhere to put my energy that was entirely mine.

I studied textiles, merchandising and design at URI. I spent years in retail before my kids came along. I knew fabrics, I knew quality, I knew what it felt like to hold something well made versus something that was just passing itself off as well made.

I kept looking for a children's boutique that combined all of it — beautiful design, ethical production, real quality, a brand you could actually trust — and coming up empty. So I stopped looking and started building.

Where the name comes from

Lorelei made me a mom. This store is for her.

My kids are the reason this store exists in more ways than one. My eldest, Lorelei, is the one who made me a mother, which changed the way I saw everything.

Naming this store after her wasn't a branding decision. It was the only name that made sense.

Every piece we carry is something I'd put on my kids without a second thought. That's not a marketing line. It's the actual standard.

Why shopping small matters

Supporting a small business is its own kind of community service.

When you shop here, the person who benefits most directly isn't a shareholder or a corporation. It's a mom in Rhode Island who pours everything she has into her family, but who needed something that poured back into her.

Moms give constantly. And when a mom's cup is full she mothers better. She shows up better. She has more to give.

Every time you choose to shop here over a big box retailer or a fast fashion site, you're telling a small business owner that what she built matters. That's not something I take lightly. Thank you for being here.
